With a bonded cellular internet connection, battery power, and a self contained mobile production studio, Burley Bytes supplies a robust, switched program feed out to any platform from pretty much any location. Built from the ground up with ST 2110 IP video, our system can function as a standalone mobile studio in circumstances that require agility, or as a highly capable streaming component in a larger production. In either case, Drew’s Technical Direction ensures every angle is covered and the viewers don’t miss a beat.
Digital Imaging Technician
On commercial, corporate and entertainment sets, Burley Bytes supplies the equipment and expertise required to ensure a smooth handoff from production to post. With a powerful, studio caliber post workstation, fully licensed Davinci Resolve installation, and industry standard color accurate monitors on board, Burley Bytes can work with DPs to create LUTs for live color and post reference. An Nvida RTX 4080 Super graphics card makes short work of ingesting footage and encoding proxies & dailies. An ST 2110 IP video fabric makes routing full resolution feeds to video village and other departments fast and easy, and with a high speed, bonded cellular internet connection, it’s dead simple to upload proxies or set up a feed for remote team members - without drama.
Video Engineer for Live Events
At live events, Burley Bytes controls any and all video content that appears on screens in the room - from image magnification to playback and presentation slides. We use state of the art gear, monitored automation, and focused human minds to ensure any event’s video content unfolds as expected. Most importantly, we do obsessive, fanatical, relentless, and persistent preparation in order to confidently reckon with any surprises.

Burley Bytes is a livestreaming and video support company built by Drew Grimes, a producer and technical director with 20 years of experience in all corners of the video production industry. It’s named after his grandfather, Burley Grimes - a mid-century chicken farmer and businessman.
